Artifact #1
Standard 1.3
For this standard I used a Motor Development Checklist and Reflection. This represents this standard because the checklist incorperates the skills of running, galloping and hopping. According to Motor Development, these are some of the basic movement patterns that all of the students need to master to become skillful movers in the future. I also chose this checklist because it breaks down the 3 movemetns into 4 cues that make it easy to describe the movement to children. This will help me as a future educator because it is important to make sure that all of my future students will be meeting these checkpoints. If they are having trouble in a movoment pattern, as a teacher it is my duty to help those children the most.
